Expanding More Than seating — Expanding the Future of Riverside Church

On behalf of Riverside, we want to thank you so much for everything you have done for our community thus far. As we approach our 9 year anniversary, we are extremely grateful for every offering, every act of service, every volunteer, and everyone who plays a part in making Riverside possible.
Because of you and what you do, we are able to further the Kingdom and make disciples. We believe that everyone has a purpose, anyone can serve, and we are all expected to grow. As we lean into these beliefs and the culture we’ve built here at Riverside, we would like to invite you to join us in a new goal for this year.
After discussion with our leadership team and prayerful consideration about the direction of Riverside, we’ve decided that we would like to expand our seating with new, comfortable chairs. We believe that providing adequate seating for our congregation and guests will help everyone feel less crowded and more welcomed. We want to be intentional about creating space for growth as we continue to build our community.
Our vision and purpose remain the same: we are called to make disciples. Because of that, we know that our church is not just the building we meet in—it’s all of us who make up the Riverside community. We are thankful to be able to use our building, our resources, and yes—even our chairs—as tools for the Kingdom.
We hope you will link arms with us in this vision and help us take the next step in growth—not just for our community, but for our relationships and the lives we’re called to impact. - Pastor Selo

Building The Future

We are not just a building facility with seating. We are a local church body using a building as a tool, to empower people through our services, outreach, discipleship and events for generations to come. We just need more seating to reach more people.
 The Vision:
To secure 40 additional chairs for sanctuary:
  • Minister to the growing number of new families and congregation
  • Provide adequate seating to prevent the feeling of being crowded in services
  • Offer excellent quality chairs for future building rentals
“Let us rise up and build.” — Nehemiah 2:18

Key Seating Status
  • Currently 84 cushioned (Blue Chairs)
  • Currently 27 non-cushioned (Wooden Black Chairs)
Current total seating is 111 seats

Key Seating Goal
  • Replace the 27 non-cushioned (Wooden Black Chairs)
  • Purchase 40 new cushioned (Blue Chairs)
New total seating would be 124 seats

  • 40 New Cushioned (Blue Chairs) @_$65.00 each = $2,600.00
  • 2 Chair dollies @_ $175.00 each = $350.00 (to move chairs for events)

Why Us? Why Now?

God has positioned Riverside Community Church to reach those who are “Church Hurt”. For growth in relationships and greater influence in our communities our current seating limits what we can do and additional seating will break those limitations.

Now is the time to stretch our faith and be a part of Riverside's future.

Our Yearly Expenditures

So where does the money really go?

Here at Riverside Community Church, we are a 100% Member funded Church. We are a 501.3c nonprofit organization, we are required to report annually to the IRS, Riverside Community Church board of directors and our Senior oversight ministry FCF international.
With this in mind, we as a church hope to build and maintain the trust, confidence and integrity of Riverside Community Church and its financial supporters, it is my desire as the lead Pastor to always provide as much transparency of our finances as possible. Below you can see the 2023 and 2024 expenses. - Pastor Selo Lozano
